Synopsis
A basement level grocery store in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn shortly after the events surrounding the death of a child and the stabbing of an Orthodox Jewish man in 1991. The riots that followed are more than The Orthodox Jewish couple who own the store can endure and they are now packing up and preparing to leave. Before they go, they receive a visit from the Korean woman, Soon-Lee Kim who is to be the new owner. They also meet an African American businessman named Henry. Act II takes place a year later. Soon-Lee has apparently shot and killed a man who tried to rob her. Soon is visited by Henry, who turns out to be the brother of the victim in the shooting. What follows is a cat and mouse game between the two as racial differences and misunderstandings become the basis for hatred and the lust for revenge.

Synopsis
Dr. Elmer Boggs and his traveling medicine show caravan weave their way through the early twentieth century Midwest selling snake oil and flimflam to the locals while his young daughter, deformed by a birthmark on her face, serves as the central attraction and recipient of a miraculous transformation during each show. An updating and refashioning of the famous tale, The Birthmark, by Nathaniel Hawthorne, exploring themes of beauty, desire and betrayal.

Synopsis
In a time of adolescent unrest, when school personnel are faced with random acts
of violence and an impending sense of fear both for and of the student body, this play takes a personal look at the student/teacher relationship. A month away from his sixteenth birthday, when his mother can legally sign him out of school, ELI is kicked out for his risk-taking and violent behavior. To fulfill his legal requirements and to avoid being sent back to juvenile detention, ELI is banished to the local library where he has to do time with CABIROY, his home instructor. Ghosts from CABIROY’S past and an angry temper challenge him as he fights for self-control and discovers a way into this troubled boy’s mind by sharing with him some of the troubles in his own.

Synopsis
Chosen to be a part of the NYC INTERNATIONAL FRINGE FESTIVAL and produced Off-Off-Broadway at the JOHN HOUSEMAN STUDIO THEATRE, this is an experimental piece developed with an ensemble of actors through a workshop process.
Originally conceived as an extended one-act, this piece has now been developed into a completed full-length play and is featured in a newly published anthology, PLAYS AND PLAYWRIGHTS FOR THE NEW MILLENNIUM, edited by Martin Denton.

Synopsis
Hank Barnett is a used car salesman in a small town somewhere in the Northeastern part of the U.S. When his business sags, his only salesman, Billy and he desperately look for a way to sell cars. A visit from a pencil selling prophet, the Believer, gives Barnett an idea. He decides to play the controversy angle and sell his cars with the slogan, “JESUS SAVES AND SO CAN YOU.” The free publicity he expects does occur, but he gets more than he bargains for when a powerful local priest, Father Randall Dryer decides to fight back.

last days of Oliver Reese, a compulsive gambler with more than a few loose ends
to tie up in his life. When he wakes up in a hospital room, the very fact of his existence is questioned by the hospital staff. What starts out as an argument about life or death becomes a journey into the nature of his soul.This is a play about second chances and redemption and about what can happen when you push your luck with both.
